Class Ingredients

  • Sauces– Chinese cooking wine, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil,
  • Spices- Chinese five spice, bay leaf, star anise, white pepper, Sichuan peppercorns, cassia bark, fennel seeds
  • Herbs– spring onion, onion, ginger, garlic,
  • Vegetable and Fruit– chilli, gai larn
  • Dry Goods and Starch – sesame seeds, honey, rock sugar

Class Style: Premium Master Class
Our Premium Master Classes are design for your maximum enjoyment and fun. Spacious kitchen studio with only 12 guests at a time you will be working on a private bench with your cooking partner in this 4 hour cooking experience. All recipes are hands on, action packed and lively. You’ll be cooking with Chef Taya well loved recipes and quality local ingredients.  A personalised, friend and fun atmosphere!

Chinese Cooking Master Classes are a perfect solution for your Christmas Party, Birthday party, Anniversary, Hens Party, Bucks Party, Team Building Cooking, Work lunch and dinner or Corporate event.

On The Day

  • Closed Toe Shoes; comfortable and light. We recommend Adidas sneakers over high heals.
  • Food Take Away Containers for your mouth watering left overs. 1 medium size container per dish is recommended. If you forget we will happily finish your food for you.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to starting time.
  • You will be cooking in pairs or with another person on a private bench.
  • Chinese Cooking Master Class lasts for approximately 3.5 – 4 hours.
  • You’ll be prepping and cooking for 2.5 – 3 hours in the kitchen. With 1 hour for happy feasting and feeling like a Kitchen Boss!
  • Sit and eat together at the end with a complimentary glass of wine, beer or soft drink.
  • Eat to your hearts content and take your creations home for your family or friends to enjoy.
  • Personalised recipe booklet for you to take home and frame.

What You'll Experience

  • Learn cooking tips, tricks, and techniques from an expert chef.
  • Engaging cooking adventure limited to 12 foodies per class only.

  • You will be cooking in pairs or with another person on a private bench.
  • This is our Premium Master Class experience, recreating every dish on the menu.

Booking Conditions

  • Refunds: We unable to offer a refund but are happy to assist in rescheduling your cooking class booking for a future date.
  • Booking Changes & Rescheduling: Email us at chef@tayakitchen.com.au to request booking changes and rescheduling available up to 7 days before your class.
  • Late Notice & Rebooking: In the event that you are unwell or unable to attend within 7 days before your class, we ask that you send someone in your place. We can also assist with rebooking your class for a future date, a rebooking fee of $50 per person applies.
  • As a small business and our classes typically booked our in advance. Late changes and cancellations have a great impact on us. We arrange orders for ingredients and staffing in anticipation your attendance and we are unable to fill your spot with short notice. If you are able to attend please arrange for someone to take your place.
  • A minimum of 6 guests is required for the class to proceed. On rare occasions that our minimum numbers are not reached we will promptly reschedule and rebook you into a class/date of your choice.
